God's Invitation to a Personal Relationship

God's Invitation

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." - Revelation 3:20

"Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" - Acts 2:38

Our Creator, God, has revealed Himself to be Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Son, Jesus Christ, invites us all to enter the Kingdom of Heaven through a personal relationship with Him: "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6

The scriptures indicate that we should turn from evil and embrace God, through faith in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Faith, of this kind, is given to us by the Holy Spirit.

"'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Matthew 11:28-30

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9

God invites you to enter into a personal relationship with Him today. He is willing to save you, to forgive your sins and relieve your burden!
